Indian FTR: let’s discover the Stealth Gray Special Edition

Between the Indian FTR and the world of biker it was love at first sight when Indian unveiled it in 2019. The spark was ignited by all the goodies that the Springfield based company put on the plate to market it good, they even created a segment for it.

The flat tracker segment represents a nice share of the motorcycle market. To start the trend it was, indeed, Indian. They did so by unveiling a model that was inspired by the Factory Flat Track racer “750FTR” with which the company was dominating competitions all over the country. If it is true that you should also please the eye, it is also true that once the eyes are pleased, substance does the difference. Indian Motorcycle knows that very well – they have been knowing this throughout their history – and decided to give the Indian FTR a strong high-revving engine and great handling.

In 2022, a couple of years after its launch, Indian FTR received a refined engine tune, optimized suspensions, a steeper head angle, a shorter trail and 17” wheels.

We are not the only ones saying this but, you are right, its sound better said by Grant Bester Vice President International Indian Motorcycle: “From its 2019 launch, we have seen the global appeal of the FTR as a true American original. From its incarnation as the flat tracker for the street, to the 2022 refinements that upped the street performance to another level, we are now proud to introduce the FTR Stealth Gray Special Edition. This factory exclusive, designed by our internationally staffed design teams, takes the FTR’s American heritage and iconic silhouette, and combines its dynamic performance with understated, under the radar, styling.

Let’s see this motorcycle together.
