Harley-Davidson Bronx: is it finally going to be released?

Harley-Davidson Bronx: for a long time, this motorcycle has been echoing in the mind of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts: unveiled in 2019 with the Pan America, The Bronx is a naked of a modern design equipped with the water-cooled Revolution Max 975.

What amazed the most about both the Harley-Davidson Bronx and the Pan America was their distance to what Harley-Davidson got us used to during its history. The main goal of the company was and still is clear: get into new segments of the motorcycle market.

A couple of events happened at the beginning of 2020 stopped the Bronx from seeing the light: first, Matt Levatich left his role of CEO to Jochen Zeitz whom decided to change all Levatich had planned for the company; second, the pandemic triggered a great deal of uncertainties in the investors that decided it was not safe to invest a lot on new markets.

This resulted in the Milwaukee company betting in other, safer, models and – while the Pan America was being released – the project of the Harley-Davidson Bronx  was put aside.

Today, when the Harley-Davidson Bronx model seemed to be forgotten in some desk drawer, its name is starting to appear on the enthusiasts’ mouth and, most importantly, insiders are starting to talk about it again: it appears that the Bronx name has been recently trademarked by Harley-Davidson.

Harley-Davidson Bronx: specs

It could finally be the moment for this motorcycle to see the light… after the recent unveiling of the Sportster S and of the Nightster, after a wait lasted 2 years, the next motorcycle to be unveiled by one of the most iconic motorcycle companies in the United States could be the Harley-Davidson Bronx.

These are the specs that this Harley Davidson could have:

  • V-Twin engine
  • 115,0 HP (83,9 kw)
  • 94Nm of Torque
  • Liquid Cooling
  • Upside down front fork
  • Mono shock
  • Brembo brakes
  • 17” wheels

Plus, the new Revolution Max architecture allows to get rid of double cradle frames and adopt more compact and intriguing solutions that are loved by the naked/streetfighter owners.

From what is possible to hear and read around, it is safe to state that the Harley-Davidson Bronx is going to be dynamic and innovative: elements that tickle the mind of bikers looking for something clever and particular that – at the same time – is still tied to Harley-Davidson tradition.
