Indian ® Scout ® oil change kit comes with 4 tanks of 15w-60 oil, which is the recommended one for Scout ® models.
This is a rather easy operation to perform, however is really important to keep high concentration levels. A mistake could compromise your motorcycle engine life.

Getting everything ready for the oil change
Beside of a Indian ® Scout ® oil change kit purchased from an Indian ® Official Dealer we are going to need:
- 1 Bucket
- 1 6mm Hex key
- 1 Funnel
- Paper towels
Its is important to worm up your bike first. Cold oil tends to be thicker and, therefore, move slowly. Nota bene

Removing the oil
Now that our motorcycle is warm we can proced with the oil change:
- Untight the drain plugs
- Place a bucket under the bike and remove the plugs
- Check the plugs for debrids and clean them
- Remove the oil filter
Once the oil is out, screw the plugs back in place and install a new oil filter. Remember to lubricate the gasket with new oil.
